With sad news from the anime world, I have confirmed Brice Armstrong passed away 10 days ago.
He was Tim Marcoh in Full Metal, Mr Takanaka in Yu Yu Hakusho and he played Captain Ginyu in the Funimation DBZ Dub, Lord Slug, AND was the AMAZING narrator for the Dragon Ball Dub.

Brice Armstrong has passed away age 84. He was the voice of Captain Ginyu, Lord Slug, and most impactful for me the narrator for the original Dragon Ball. His storybook voice really defined the mood of Funi’s dub of that show for me.https://t.co/d1yQCrGs9m

R.I.P. Brice Armstrong
FUNimation’s Captain Ginyu, the narrator for Dragon Ball, Tim Marcoh in Fullmetal Alchemist ’03 and half the extras in Yu Yu Hakusho. Always a fan-favorite among my group of friends.

This man made my entire childhood. His narration of Gohan’s Super Saiyan 2 transformation with Bruce Falconer’s score in the back was prime television!
Rest in Peace!https://t.co/v55HbeFWHe
