We are completely shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of a close friend of ours at Layton’s on 92nd. It will not be the same without you, Larry. Godspeed.
Cause of Death.
We have no information at the moment on what caused the death of Larry Jock . This post will be updated as soon as we have that information.
The following are some tributes posted on social media to honor the life and the legacy of the deceased.
Ocean City has lost a great member of its community. Larry was an icon, friend to many, and one hell of a photographer.
A good day on the water was quickly followed by the words “Let me call Larry” ⎯ eager to greet him with their great catch. Larry would be over in a moments notice, camera in hand, ready to get to work. He would always say “Okay guys, you ready?” before snapping that memorable shot.
Over the years he’s captured timeless moments that fishermen around the world display at their home and office for all to see. He will be sorely missed, but his impact on the fishing community will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts & prayers are with the Jock family. Ocean City has lost an icon & a great man. Larry Jock was one of a kind & his love for fishing showed in the joy that seeing someones big catch gave him & photographing their big fish moment in life. We will miss life through the eye of his lens .. through his words and his genuine kindness.
We are very saddened to hear of the loss of another one of the good ones in our community, Larry Jock. He was always a pleasure to work with and just an all around great guy. Our sincere condolences go out to the Jock family.
