Dolly Parton is 50 years with the Grand Ole Opry

Dolly Parton will commend 50 years as an individual from the Grand Ole Opry with a unique program on NBC Tuesday night.

“Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Opry” show 9-11 p.m. Tuesday on WCYB and will highlight interviews with blue grass music’s greatest stars, just as a gander at Parton’s commemoration slam that occurred on Oct. 12.

While the program will be publicized broadly on NBC associates, Parton holds an exceptional spot in the hearts of Appalachians as the Queen of East Tennessee.

“At the point when you get to that status, where you quickly remember one name, she’s done quite well,” said Tim White, artist, and host of the country TV program ‘Tune of the Mountains.’ “She’s done well indeed. You know… Dolly!”
