Eric Lertzman Death, Obituary : Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney Killed after a shooting incident in Northridge .
The office of the Los Angeles City attorney have confirmed the death of deputy city attorney Eric Lertzman, the shooting incident that claimed the life of the attorney at a Northridge home.
Also killed were his wife and adult son. Officials did not confirm whether Lertzman was the shooter, but police said they believe this was a murder suicide.
City Attorney Statement on Northridge Tragedy:
Los Angeles– It is with shock and profound sadness that we announce that today Deputy City Attorney Eric Lertzman was involved in a tragic incident which we understand resulted in the death of his wife, his adult son and himself.
Details are evolving, though early reports indicate police were called to the family home because of a domestic disturbance.
Lertzman joined the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office in 2005.
