Coach Kelly Nobes Dies, Cause of Death Unknown.

Head coach of McGill University’s men’s hockey program, Kelly Nobes, died at the age of 45.
This was said Thursday afternoon the junior hockey expert TVA Sports channel, Mikaël Lalancette, on his Twitter account. The causes of death remain unknown.
Nobes finished his ninth season in 2018-2019 as head instructor of university training. The Ontarian also led at the Royal Military College in Kingston and at Wilfrid Laurier University. A former McGill player, he guided his troupe to a 38-6.
The Cape Breton Eagles are saddened to learn of the passing of Kelly Nobes. Nobes’s son Bodie was drafted by the Eagles this past June, and both father and son were in Sydney for training camp this summer.
Kelly served as head coach of the McGill Redmen for nine seasons and was well respected throughout the hockey community. Our thoughts are with Bodie and the rest of the Nobes family at this time.
I’m in complete disbelief that my longtime friend and business partner Kelly Nobes has passed away suddenly at 45 years young. Nobesy was a loyal friend, an intense competitor, and a great hockey coach. I’m speechless.
