Beloved Brian Hampton Passed Away 

HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) has lost senior Vice President Brian Hampton, the company announced Monday that Brian passed away on Jun 29th.

The Company President and CEO Mark Schoenwald released the following statements to mourn the demise of his Company Vice President.

“It is difficult to express what Brian Hampton meant to me, to this organization, to our authors, to the industry,” he said. “So many at HarperCollins Christian Publishing, including myself, admired Brian for so much more than his contribution here, and his presence will be missed.”

Apart from the CEO tributes, the company also released the following condolence message on social media.

According to Hampton began his career at Thomas Nelson in 1991 as an editorial assistant, and after moving up the ladder, he was named senior v-p and publisher for Thomas Nelson in 2006. In 2018, Hampton replaced David Moberg as president and group publisher of HCCP, where he led the strategy and direction of the publishing programs at both Thomas Nelson and Zondervan, with the exception of the Zondervan Academic and Zondervan Reflective imprints.

Cause of Death :

The cause of death has not been released to the general public as at the time of this report.
