Oak Lawn Bank Robbery : Armed Woman Robs Huntington Bank

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information about an armed woman who robbed a bank Monday in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.

The Oak Law Police said

“On April 29th at approximately 2:40 pm , the Oak Lawn Police Department responded to a call of an armed robbery that occurred at the Huntington Bank 10240 S. Cicero Ave.

The Offender is described as a black female, 55-65 years old, 5’5″ tall, 175 lbs, wearing a black hat, black pants, a gray puffy coat covered by a blue rain poncho and she was carrying black handbag.

The offender entered the bank and showed a note to the teller and displayed a small black handgun. The teller gave an unknown amount of money to the offender who then left the bank. The offender entered a large, dark colored SUV and fled west on OAK Center.

The FBI responded to the scene and is currently investigating the robbery. The Police is asking that anyone with information should contact the Oak Lawn Police Department at 708-422-8292 of the FBI Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700″
